Mrs. Elizabeth Omowumi Adeniran was born on the 7th day of December, 1950 to the family of Deacon and Amos Agboola Shangowole. She was raised in a God-fearing, strict and religious family.

After her primary school education, she proceeded to have her secondary school education at the then renowned Reagan Memorial Baptist Girls School, Lagos. Being a student with a scholarly, dutiful and amiable character, she was appointed as the Head Girl. Afterwards, she moved on to Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, Ondo State, where she obtained her National College of Education Certificate (N.C.E) in Chemistry/Biology. She later on bagged a degree from Sussex University, United Kingdom. She was later employed by the Oyo State Government as a School Teacher. She taught at Ogbomoso Girls’ High School from 1971 and left in 1982. While there, she combined the roles of Teacher and House Mistress.

Afterwards, she was transferred to Anglican Commercial Grammar School, Ibadan and later became Vice- Principal there. She influenced the lives of many students positively as she propagated the gospel. As a glowing light, she was instrumental to the establishment of the school fellowship. Later on, she was transferred to Aroro Community High School, Ojoo, Ibadan as School Principal, where she spent a year and some months. Again, she was transferred to Bashorun Ojo High School, as V.P. Special. She retired from service at this time so as to join her husband who had then become the Osun State Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church in Osogbo.

“Mummy” as she is fondly called by church members in Osogbo is an indefatigable and self-tasking worker. Her doggedness, discipline and assiduity led to the successful establishment of the Grace and Glory International Schools, building the school from the scratch, and with very meager resources, into the award-winning success it has become.
